The State of Wisconsin’s aging IT system needed to be replaced with a new enterprise system to overhaul the financial, payroll, and purchasing systems and processes.

Approach

We positioned our client New Resources Consulting as the go-to firm to provide ERP implementation services to the State as part of the IT upgrade. We helped NRC navigate the state government’s complex procurement process, coached NRC leaders on how to tell their story in a compelling way and secured numerous meetings for NRC with influencers at the Department of Administration. Together, we crafted a compelling argument for the DOA to grant a significant contract to Wisconsin-based NRC, because it would represent an investment in a local company.

Results

Ultimately, we secured a $13 million contract for New Resources Consulting with the Wisconsin state government as part of the overall enterprise system upgrade.
